Through the Magical Mists of Time

"A horse is the projection of peoples' dreams about themselves - strong, powerful, beautiful - and it has the capability of giving us escape from our mundane existence."  - Pam Brown

There is something very special about walking on the same ground where these Wild Horses roam along The Salt River in Arizona.  Through the magical mists of time, these majestic wild horses have sparked our imaginations and have shown us the way to true freedom.

Monsoon Magic

“Rain clouds come floating in, not to muddy my days ahead, but to make me calm, happy and hopeful.”

-  rajuda

The stormy weather is here for a couple of months here in the Valley of the Sun.  Phoenix and the outlying areas are experiencing sand storms, thunder and a nice show of lightning adorning the skies.  I look forward to this time of year, despite the hotter temperatures.  The clouds make for some very dramatic photography for sunsets and storms in the Arizona desert! It is a magical time of year when we photographers go storm chasing.  Here are a few of my images of the monsoon weather and sunsets.

Reflection Pond

This spot is one of my favorite reflection ponds within West Fork in Oak Creek Canyon.  Sedona, Arizona has so many beautiful scenic spots and this one is especially healing and soothing.
