Tam Ryan has lived in the Southwestern United States for over forty years. Her interests center on the region's unique attributes, especially its vast landscapes and bird wildlife. Tam Ryan's other interests include abstracts in nature, architecture, desert flora, and cacti.
This spot is one of my favorite reflection ponds within West Fork in Oak Creek Canyon. Sedona, Arizona has so many beautiful scenic spots and this one is especially healing and soothing.
During many of my visits to the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona, there have been many beautiful spring flowers and cactus flowers in bloom. This is one of many favorite images that I have photographed.
Off and on, since I was a youngster and through my adulthood, I have written a few poems over the years. The influence, I'm sure, came from my mother, who was a poet. I will share some of my other poems in the future from time to time.
